S235JR hot rolled coil base export offer price of a privately owned steel mill in China is at $550-560/mt FOB St level on actual weight basis for August or September shipments. The decision on reducing tax rebates on exports has increased supply in the domestic market, and raised inventories. Prices have been going down in China during the last four weeks, but some stockists still expect stabilization of prices according to some traders. Meanwhile some other traders expect even further weakening trend. Particularly HRC prices have gone down $15-20/mt for exports compared to a few weeks ago.
