Steelorbis Shanghai has learned that one of the largest steelmakers in eastern
China has received an order this month for about 50,000 tons on medium
plate. The current export quotation for the product to South
Korea is $520/mt CFR, while quotations to
Europe and America remain at around $520/mt FOB.
In addition, Henan Province-based Wuyang Iron and Steel Company has announced that its export business for medium
plate is very good. They have already many orders from abroad in hand, which they are due to complete during the first half of next year.
