Over the past week, demand in the Turkish coated steel market has been weak and, mostly, prices have remained stable. Buyers have continued to put pressure on prices due to price falls of all flat steel products in the country and make bookings for only their immediate needs. According to market sources, prices are likely to decrease and demand is not expected to recover in the short term.

Turkish mills’ price offers for coated products for their domestic and export markets, for September and October production, are presented in the following table.
