Demand still better than expected in Bulgarian flat steel market

Flat steel prices in the Bulgarian domestic market have increased by BGN 10/mt ($7/mt) compared to the end of January. Despite harsh weather conditions, domestic demand has remained at better levels than expected, though market players complain about the lack of big construction projects in the coming months.

In the meantime, depending on the customer's location and payment method, it is reported that discounts of about BGN 20-30/mt ($14-21/mt) are available for certain products.
