Italian producer Riva’s base prices in Italy’s domestic flats market stand at the level of €680/mt. Meanwhile, demand in the same market cannot be reported to be doing well. As long as end-user demand remains sluggish, buyers do not want to build up inventories. Ex-China HRC offers for the Italian market are at the level of €660/mt CIF Italy. In addition to this, as the Italian mills’ order books for CR and galvanized materials are full till the end of summer, there is no exact price level being mentioned in the market.
