During the week ending September 26, cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in the Chinese domestic market have decreased slightly. Average CRC prices in the Chinese market can be viewed in the SteelOrbis price reports section.
Early last week, CRC prices in China have increased from the bottom price levels. However, after September 20, CRC prices have again switched to a downtrend under the impact of decreases in steel futures prices. While many traders are giving discounts for real buyers, expectations for the market outlook are positive ahead of the National Day holiday (October 1-7).
However, the future CRC price trend in the post-holiday period is still uncertain.
