SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of JIS G3141 SPCC cold rolled coils (CRC) of 0.3-1.5 mm thickness have decreased by NTD 500-600/mt ($17-20/mt) since last week and are now standing at NTD 20,000-22,000/mt ($666-733/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis.
Meanwhile, the prices of JIS G3131 SPHC 2.0-4.5 mm hot rolled coils (HRC) are currently at NTD 19,000-20,000/mt ($633-666/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis, indicating a decline of NTD 800-900/mt ($27-30/mt) as compared to last week.
Both price ranges include five percent VAT and are for middle and end of July shipments.
