Average Chinese hot rolled coil (HRC), hot rolled plate and shipbuilding plate export offers have indicated an upward trend in the past week, though export prices of other flat steel products have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil given by Chinese suppliers are at $595-615/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $625-635/mt FOB.

It is thought that flat steel offer prices from China will likely decline in the coming week.
