Average Chinese flat products export offers have mostly edged upward over the past week, though hot dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) prices have moved sideways. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $575-585/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $615-625/mt FOB.

Due to firm domestic prices and support from the cost side, it is thought that flat product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
