SteelOrbis has been informed that Chinese SS400 grade hot rolled coil offers to South Korea are ranging at $505-515/mt FOB Tianjin for 4.0 mm-12 mm x 1,500 mm x C and at $525-535/mt FOB Tianjin for 2.75 mm x 1,500 mm x C on actual weight basis via at sight payment by letter of credit for April shipment. China origin hot rolled coil offer prices have increased by $5-10/mt compared with last week. Even though there is a market rumour that China's government may announce the cancellation of the export tax rebate on some steel products in the coming days, some traders still quote small tonnages of such items to their customers. At present, they do not discuss the losses that may be caused by a change in the rebate policy.
