Russia’s GDP increases by 7% in 2003

As per the data released by Economy Ministry, Russia's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) grew by 7% in 2003 compared with the previous year. GDP has also increased by 8.2% in December 2003. The growth in GDP is attributed to the increase in capital investment and rising personal incomes. In Russia, manufacturing rose by 7% in 2003 compared to previous year while capital investment increased by 12.5%.
