Notable wire rod, rebar, pipe, HRC and slab shipments into the US, Feb. 21-27

Wire Rod:

• Two shipments totaling 1,295 metric tons of wire rod arrived into the Port of Savannah, Georgia on February 21 from ports south of Recife, Brazil.

Rebar:

• Three shipments totaling 5,920 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on February 21 from Mediterranean region ports, Turkey.
• 1,907 metric tons of rebar arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on February 27 from Black Sea and Sea of Marmara ports, Turkey.

Pipe:

• Eight shipments totaling 20,288 metric tons of SAW pipe arrived into the Port of New Orleans, Louisiana on February 22 from Indian West Coast ports.

HRC:

• Five shipments totaling 1,083 metric tons of pickled and oiled HRC arrived into the Port of Houston, Texas on February 23 from the Port of Shanghai, China.

Slab:

• Two shipments totaling 19,361 metric tons of steel slab arrived in the Port of Houston, Texas on February 21 from the Port of Victoria, Brazil.
