Zhujiang Steel increases HRC prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 27, 2006, Guangdong province-based Guangzhou Zhujiang Steel Co. Ltd adjusted its ex-factory prices of hot rolled coil. The price of 1.6-2.1 mm thick hot rolled coil increased RMB 50/mt ($6), while that of 2.2-2.4 mm thick hot rolled coil increased RMB 30/mt ($4). After the adjustment, the price of >3.95 mm thick ZJ400 hot rolled coil is RMB 4,030/mt ($511), that of 2.0 mm thick ZJ400 hot rolled coil is RMB 4,430/mt ($562), while the price of 3.0 mm thick ZJ400 hot rolled coil is RMB 4,180/mt ($530). The above prices include 17% VAT and are effective as of October 27.
