Xinyu Steel raises ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 16, Jiangxi Province-based Xinyu Steel announced the latest ex-factory prices for some of its products. The details are as follows: 1.Wire rod prices have gone up RMB 40/mt ($5/mt). As a result, the price of 6.5-10 mm diameter Q235 high speed wire rod in Nanchang is now at RMB 3,310/mt ($442/mt). 2. Rebar prices increased by RMB 60/mt ($9/mt) for Nanchang, and so the new price of 16-25mm diameter HRB335 is now at RMB 3,310/mt ($424/mt). 3. The prices of common carbon plate and low alloy plate saw a general increase of RMB 120/mt ($15/mt), except for the prices for Guangdong, Guangxi, and Xinan which increased RMB 150/mt ($19/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 12 mm Q235 common carbon plate is at RMB 3,990/mt ($514/mt) in Nanchang. All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 16.
