Xinhai Metallurgy Co.’s BF No. 3 starts production

Fujian Province-based Chinese steel company Xinhai Metallurgy Co. has announced that its 450 cubic meter capacity blast furnace No. 3 has started production of molten iron. The drying of the furnace had begun at the end of November this year.
 
With its new blast furnace, Xinhai Metallurgical Co. expects to increase its annual steel product output capacity from 1.3 million mt to 2 million mt. Xinhai Metallurgy Co. mainly produces high-strength semi-finished steel, HRB 400 rebar, and HPB 235 and HPB 335 bright round bar.
