On December 5, Jiangsu Province-based steelmaker Wuxi NewDaZhong Steel Co. released new ex-factory prices for the month of December.
The producer's ex-factory price of HDG increased RMB 50-150/mt ($7-20/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,150/mt ($832/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 5,750/mt ($778/mt).
The ex-factory price of color coated coil increased RMB 120/mt ($16/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.4 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,220/mt ($977/mt), while that of 0.47 mm thick color coated coils is RMB 6,970/mt ($943/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of December 1, 2007.
