WISCO to overhaul rolling line

SteelOrbis Shanghai Southeastern China's Hubei province based flat steel maker Wuhan Iron and Steel Company (WISCO) plans to overhaul its No.2 hot rolling line in September over a period of approximately 15 days. The overhaul is expected to influence around 150,000 metric tons of production. Furthermore, WISCO also plans to overhaul its No.1 hot rolling line in October, which is expected to influence around 100,000 metric tons of production. The company has an annual steel production capacity of nearly 20 million metric tons, producing hot-rolled sheet, cold-rolled sheet and galvanized sheet, tin plate, cold-rolled silicon steel plates, and large color coated sheet steel products, wire, and plate.
