Hubei Province-based Wuhan Iron & Steel Corp. (WISCO) has made a significant breakthrough in the research and development of high strength container steel, successfully developing 700-800Mpa grade high strength CSP of 3.2 mm and 6.0 mm thickness.
WISCO's success in developing this steel type not only fills up a gap in the field of high-strength, atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel plate, but also indicates a new level reached in WISCO's trial manufacture and production of high-strength container steel.
