WISCO reduces color coated prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporation (WISCO) announced its October ex-factory prices of galvanized coils and color coated coils on September 4, 2006. Galvanized coil prices remained unchanged compared with September; while color coated coil prices decreased RMB 117/mt ($15). After the adjustment, 1.0 mm JY150 galvanized coil retained RMB 5,713/mt ($720) including 17 percent VAT, while 0.55 mm WLC color coated coil dropped to RMB 7,119/mt ($897) including 17 percent VAT.
