Wiegel Galvanize to come on stream in 2007

Germany's Wiegel Group has announced that Wiegel Galvanize, located in the Second Organized Industrial Zone in Hendek, Adapazari in northwest Turkey, is scheduled to come on stream in early 2007. The mill will be the largest of its type in Turkey with a 600,000 ton-capacity zinc pool measuring 15.50 m × 1.80 m × 3.20 m. The Wiegel Group currently employs over 1,300 workers and has production sites in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and Turkey. The company specializes in hot dip galvanizing and color-coating.
