Volkswagen sales grow in China and South America

Volkswagen's global sales registered a rise of more than 10 percent from a year ago to 324,000 vehicles in November 2007. From January to November, the automobile manufacturer's sales increased 8.8 percent year on year to nearly 3.4 million vehicles, almost equal to its whole-year sales volume for 2006.

In the January-November period, Volkswagen saw a sales growth of 35 percent in the Brazilian market, followed by a 28 percent rise in China and a 21 percent increase in Argentina.
