Venezuelan state-run steelmaker Complejo Siderurgico Nacional (CSN) has reportedly halted production at its Camisa mill, in Puerto Ordaz, for about 18 months, according to a media report.

CSN said in July 2018 it invested over $10 million in the Casima mill to help it resume operations. At the time, CSN promised it would “soon” restart the idled plant.

CSN operates the Casima, Antimano, Guarenas, Valencia, Lara, Barquisimeto plants in Venezuela. The Casima plant produces mainly billets.
