USA’s LJT Steel announces $11 million expansion

Chattanooga, Tennessee-based LJT Tennessee and Steel Warehouse, a manufacturer of mechanical and structural grade steel tubing manufacturer and flat-rolled service center Thursday announced an $11 million expansion of their Center South Riverport location. 

The project will consist of expanding two buildings, and adding a total of 70,000 square feet to the facility.  This marks the company's fourth expansion since 2002.

LJT Tennessee and Steel Warehouse is a subsidiary of Lock Joint Tube Inc.  Founded in 1919, Lock Joint Tube currently has four plants located in Indiana, Texas, and Tennessee.  They are a privately-owned member of the Lerman Enterprise network of related-industry companies.
