US wholesale prices record highest jump in six years
While overall wholesale prices in the US increased 0.3% in January 2005, prices outside of food and energy, which is also the core inflation rate, jumped 0.8%, four times greater than what analysts had been predicting. The data show the largest jump in wholesale prices since a 1% increase in December 1998. Wall Street expectations were 0.2%.US wholesale prices record highest jump in six years
