US rebar exports down 62.0 percent in February 2026 from January

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of rebar totaled 4,947 mt in February this year, down 62.0 percent month on month and down 77.8 percent year on year. By value, rebar exports totaled $4.65 million in February, compared to $11.78 million in the previous month and $16.58 million in the same month of 2025.

The US shipped the most rebar to Canada in February with 3,174 mt, compared to 11,865 mt in January and 13,432 mt in February 2025. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US rebar exports in February.
