US flat rolled mills cut raw materials surcharge

Steel Dynamics Inc. and Nucor Inc. have announced their November raw materials surcharge on its sheet products. November deliveries will carry a raw materials surcharge of $3.25 cwt. ($65 per net ton, $71.65 per metric ton). This is a $2.25 cwt. ($45/net ton, $49.60/metric ton) decrease from previous raw materials surcharge. SDI’s surcharge is effective November 1 while Nucor’s surcharge is effective on orders placed for deliveries on or after November 5.
