On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Germany. Upon the request of BGH, the respondent, the DOC, on April 28, 2006, initiated an antidumping administrative review for imports of subject merchandise from four affiliated German producers/exporters (collectively known as BGH) during the period from March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006. Subject to the review were BGH Edelstahl Freital GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lippendorf GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lugau GmbH, and BGH Edelstahl Siegen GmbH. Since BGH withdrew its request within 90 days of the initiation of the administrative review, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to BGH.
