On April 27, 2007, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from Germany. The review covered the period March 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007. German producers Schmiedewerke Groditz GmbH (SWG), and BGH Edelstahl Freital GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lippendorf GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lugau GmbH and BGH Edelstahl Siegen GmbH (collectively BGH) were subject to the review.
Since all the parties requesting a review withdrew their requests for the administrative review within 90 days of its initiation, the DOC has decided to rescind the administrative review with respect to SWG and BGH.
