On October 25, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for imports of steel concrete reinforcing bars from South Korea. The review covers the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005. Since Hanbo Iron & Steel, INI Steel and Kosteel Co Ltd certified that they had no shipments of the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review, the DOC preliminarily determined to rescind the review with respect to these producers. The DOC preliminarily determined that the following duty margins exist for the remaining producers subject to the review:

Producer/exporter Margin

Dongkuk Steel Mills/Korea Iron and Steel Co/
Hwanyoung Steel Ind Co Ltd.....................0.00%
Dongil Industries Co Ltd.....................102.28%
