US DOC issues final results of new shipper review on steel nails from China

On Thursday, June 17, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of the new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on certain steel nails from China, covering Qingdao Denarius Manufacture Co., Ltd.

In the review covering January 23, 2008 through January 31, 2009, the DOC determined a 34.14 percent AD margin for the company. This compared with the preliminary margin of 38.13 percent.

Certain steel nails subject to this proceeding are currently classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7317.00.55, 7317.00.65 and 7317.00.75.
