On Thursday, March 31, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a February anniversary date.
The DOC has initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:
(1) Stainless steel flanges from India (A-533-809) - Pradeep Metals Ltd. The products in question are classified under subheadings 7307.21.1000 and 7307.21.5000 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
(2) Stainless steel bar from India (A-533-810) - Ambica Steels Limited; Atlas Stainless Steel; Bhansali Bright Bars Pvt. Ltd.; Chandan Steel Limited; FACOR Steels Limited; Grand Foundry, Ltd.; India Steel Works, Ltd.; Meltroll Engineering Pvt. Ltd.; Mukand, Ltd.; Sindia Steels Limited; Snowdrop Trading Pvt. Ltd.; and Venus Wire Industries Pvt. Ltd. The products in question are classified under subheadings 7222.10.0005, 7222.10.0050, 7222.20.0005, 7222.20.0045, 7222.20.0075, and 7222.30.0000 of the HTSUS.
(3) Stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy (A-475-828) - Filmag Italia SRL; and Tectubi Raccordi S.p.A. The products in question are classified under HTSUS subheading 7307.23.0000.
(4) Cut-to-length carbon quality steel plate from South Korea (A-580-836) - Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd.
The period of review covers February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011.
