On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Germany. Upon the request of German producer Schmiedewerke Groditz (SWG), the DOC decided to initiate a new shipper review for the producer. The producer claimed that it did not export subject merchandise to the US during the period of the investigation (POI)(October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2000.) Accordingly, the DOC is initiating a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from SWG. The review covers the period March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006.
