US DOC: Final results of sunset review on flat products from S. Korea

On November 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated a sunset review of the countervailing duty order on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from South Korea. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC determined to conduct expedited sunset review. As a result of this review, the DOC found that revocation of the CVD order would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy at the level indicated below:
