On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Germany. Upon the request of petitioners, and the request of respondent, the DOC, on April 22, 2005, initiated an antidumping administrative review for imports of subject merchandise from four affiliated German producers/exporters (collectively known as BGH) during the period from March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005. Subject to the review were BGH Edelstahl Freital GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lippendorf GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lugau GmbH, and BGH Edelstahl Siegen GmbH. The Department calculated a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of 1.06 percent for BGH. Upon the comments received, the DOC decided to make certain changes for the final results. Accordingly, the final results of this review differ from the preliminary results. The final weighted-average dumping margin for BGH is 0.62 percent.
