Upon the request of the Nucor Corporation, Mittal Steel USA ISG Inc. (Mittal) and United States Steel Corporation (USS)(collectively, petitioners), the US Department of Commerce (DOC) on December 22, 2005, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from The Netherlands. The review covered the period November 1, 2004 through October 31, 2005.

In the preliminary results dated December 11, 2006, the DOC determined that sales of hot rolled steel from Dutch steelmaker Corus Staal BV (Corus Staal) in the US were made below normal value and set a duty margin of 2.52 percent for the producer.

Based on the comments received, the DOC has decided to make changes in the margin calculation; however, the change has not resulted in any change in the previously set margin.

Accordingly, the final margin existing for imports of the subject merchandise from Corus Staal is 2.52 percent.
