US DOC files final AD review results for stainless sheet and strip coils from Taiwan

On December 9, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review for stainless steel sheet and strip coils from Taiwan, making no changes in the margin calculated in the preliminary ruling.

The period of review was July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009 and the preliminary results of the review were issued on Tuesday, August 13, 2010.

This review covered twenty producers/exporters and the DOC selected Chia Far Industrial Factory Co., Ltd (Chia Far) as the only respondent for individual examination in this administrative review.

The institution agreed with its preliminary decision that China Steel Corporation had no shipments during the period of the review.

The following final AD margins have been determined as a result of the review:

-Chia Far Industrial Factory Co., Ltd - 0.00 percent

-Chain Chon Industrial Co., Ltd; Chien Shing Stainless Co; Dah Shi Metal Industrial Co., Ltd; Goang Jau Shing Enterprise Co., Ltd; KNS Enterprise Co., Ltd; Lih Chan Steel Co., Ltd; Maytun International Corp; PFP Taiwan Co., Ltd; Shih Yuan Stainless Steel Enterprise Co., Ltd; Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Co., Ltd; Tang Eng Iron Works; Tibest International Inc; Tung Mung Development Co., Ltd./Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Co., Ltd; Waterson Corp; Yieh Loong Enterprise Co., Ltd (aka Chung Hung Steel Co., Ltd.; Yieh Mau Corp; Yieh Trading Corp; and Yieh United Steel Corporation - 4.30 percent (review-specific average rate).
