On February 25, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review for carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago, making no changes in the margin calculated in the preliminary ruling.
The DOC came to the conclusion that for respondents ArcelorMittal Point Lisas Limited and its affiliate ArcelorMittal International America LLC, collectively AMPL, the only concerned party for the review, an AD margin of 23.95 percent should be imposed, the same margin as in the preliminary finding.
The period of the review was October 1, 2007, through September 30, 2008 and the preliminary results were issued on November 9, 2009.
The petitioners in the case were ISG Georgetown Inc, Nucor Steel Connecticut Inc, Keystone Consolidated Industries Inc, and Rocky Mountain Steel Mills.
