On September 28, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping administrative review on certain corrosion resistant carbon steel flat products imported from France for the period August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the DOC, on December 12, 2005, published its intent to rescind the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on subject merchandise imported from France after concluding that no entries of subject merchandise by the respondent were made during the period of review. Based on the comments submitted regarding the DOC's intention to rescind the review, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to Duferco since the respondent had no entries of subject merchandise during the period of review.
