US DOC announces AD/CVD reviews for stainless bar and steel plate imports

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Tuesday the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a February anniversary date. 

The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:

(1)  Stainless Steel Bar from Brazil (A-351-825): Villares Metals S.A.

(2)  Stainless Steel Bar from India (A-533-810): Ambica Steels Limited; and Bhansali Bright Bars Pvt. Ltd.

(3)  Certain Cut-to-Length Carbon-Quality Steel Plate from Korea (A-580-836): Bookuk Steel Co., Ltd.; Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd.; Hyosung International; Samsung C&T Corporation; SM Solution Co. Ltd.; and TCC Steel Corporation.

The period of review is February 1, 2013 through January 31, 2014.


Additionally, the DOC initiated the following administrative review of CVD orders involving steel products:

(1)  Certain Cut-to-Length Carbon-Quality Steel Plate from Korea (C-580-837): Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd.

The period of review is calendar year 2014.
