US DOC amends final results of AD review on SS bar from Germany
On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Germany. Upon the request of petitioners, and the request of respondent, the DOC, on April 22, 2005, initiated an antidumping administrative review for imports of subject merchandise from four affiliated German producers/exporters (collectively known as BGH) during the period from March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005. Subject to the review were BGH Edelstahl Freital GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lippendorf GmbH, BGH Edelstahl Lugau GmbH, and BGH Edelstahl Siegen GmbH. In the final results dated July 28, 2006, the Department calculated a weighted-average dumping margin of 0.62 percent for BGH. However, the petitioners submitted ministerial error allegations and the respondents submitted rebuttal comments. Based on these submissions, the DOC decided to amend the final results. Accordingly, the revised weighted-average dumping margin for BGH is 0.73 percent.
