US-based Namasco Corp. acquires Lake Steel Ltd.

Roswell, Georgia-based steel service center Namasco Corporation, a subsidiary of Duisburg, Germany-based  Klöckner & Co, announced Wednesday that is has acquired Amarillo, Texas based steel distributor Lake Steel Ltd.

The acquisition is said to extend Namasco's presence in Northern Texas. Namasco currently has locations in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, Texas.

In addition to Texas, Lake Steel is also a supplier in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, and Louisiana.

By the end of December, Lake Steel Ltd. will be consolidated into Klöckner & Co SE.
