Universal Stainless announces price increase
Bridgeville-based steel producer Universal Stainless & Alloy Products has announced today that it will increase base prices of all air melted steels by 5% and all remelted steels by 7% effective for shipments as of January 17, 2005. The price increases include ingot, slab, billet, bloom bar, flat bar, round bar, hexagon, square, rod and wire products. The prices are stated to have been increased to offset rising manufacturing costs.Universal Stainless announces price increase
