Ukrainian semi-finished steel exports up 14.8 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, Ukrainian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 14.8 percent year on year to 1.854 million mt, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.
 
Meanwhile, exports of semi-finished steel products from Ukraine increased by 16.8 percent in February compared to January, rising to 999,070 mt.
 
On the other hand, in the first two months of the year Ukrainian imports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 87.6 percent year on year to 11,370 mt.
 
In February alone, Ukraine’s imports of semi-finished steel products increased by 2.4 times compared to January, rising to 8,010 mt.
