Ukrainian semi-finished steel exports and imports decrease in Jan-Aug

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-August period of the current year Ukrainian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 5.1 percent year on year to 6.837 million mt.
 
Meanwhile, exports of semi-finished steel products from Ukraine decreased by 3.6 percent in August compared to July, falling to 821,810 mt.
 
On the other hand, in the first eight months Ukrainian imports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 16.4 percent year on year to 275,070 mt.
 
In August alone, imports of semi-finished steel products to Ukraine increased by 3.2 percent compared to July, rising to 33,010 mt.
