Ukrainian scrap exports drops in 2006

According to the data received from a reliable Ukrainian industry source, in 2006 Ukraine's exports of scrap dropped by 41 percent year on year to 746,400 metric tons. During the given period, a visible decrease was noticed in scrap exports to Moldova – down from 421,300 metric tons in 2005 to 78,600 metric tons, and also to Egypt – down from 209,400 metric tons to 185,200 metric tons.
