Ukrainian galvanized steel producer Unisteel to expand sales markets in 2011

Ukrainian galvanized steel producer Unisteel has said that in 2011 it plans to increase its share in the Ukrainian domestic market to 15 percent and to start exports to Russia, Georgia, Armenia and to Middle Eastern countries such as Syria and Lebanon.
 
In January-February this year, Unisteel produced 5,300 mt of galvanized steel products, its share in the Ukrainian domestic market reached 10 percent, while the share of exports in its total sales amounted to five percent. Unisteel's products were exported to Belarus, Moldova, and Azerbaijan.
 
In March, Unisteel plans to increase its galvanized steel product sales to 7,200 mt.
 
In 2010 (from July to December), Unisteel's sales amounted to 11,000 mt. The average increase in sales from month to month in 2010 amounted to more than 40 percent. In December 2010 as compared to July, Unisteel's  shipments increased by five times.
 
Ukrainian galvanized steel producer Unisteel was commissioned in July 2010 and has an annual production capacity of 100,000 mt.
