Ukraine's iron ore production down slightly in January-October

In the January- October period of this year, Ukraine's production of iron ore and iron ore concentrate declined by 0.9 percent year on year to 68.931 million mt, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

In October alone, Ukraine's output of of iron ore and iron ore concentrate increased by 4.1 percent month on month to 7.004 million mt. In particular, production of iron ore increased by 0.3 percent to 1.221 million mt, while iron ore concentrate output went up by 4.9 percent to 5.783 million mt, both month-on-month basis.
