Ukraine’s Donetskstal to commission new mini-mill 100 in January

The Ukrainian steel producer Donetskstal plans to commission its new bar-rolling mini-mill 100 in January 2011.

Accordingly, Donetskstal started the preparations works for the launch of the mill in December this year. Currently, the new mini-mill 100 in is the process of commissioning works which have been 75 percent completed.  The planned production capacity of the mill, which will mainly produce wire rod, will amount to 400,000 mt of steel products per month.
