Ukraine’s automotive output sees drop of one percent in Jan-Oct

According to the data issued by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association - Ukrautoprom, in January-October this year Ukrainian automakers produced 63,209 vehicles, registering a slight decrease of one percent year on year. In particular, during the period in question, local automakers produced 56,818 cars - down seven percent, 2,126 buses - up 132 percent, and 4,265 trucks - up 113 percent, all compared to January-October 2009.

In October this year, Ukraine's automotive output saw an increase of 17 percent month on month and of 92 percent year on year to 9,719 units, including 8,980 cars - up 17 percent, 206 buses - down 20 percent, and 533 trucks - up 54 percent, all compared to September.
