Ukraine-based KZhRK’s iron ore output down 4.5 percent in Jan-Aug

In the January-August period this year, Dnipro region-based Ukrainian iron ore producer Kryviy Rih Iron Ore Industrial Complex (KZhRK) mined 2.757 million mt of merchant iron ore, down 4.5 percent year on year, according to local media sources.

In August alone, the company’s iron ore production amounted to 287,000, falling by 23.7 percent month on month, SteelOrbis has learned.
